There aren’t many rules here—this is about you.

What you wear should feel like a reflection of who you already are. The pieces you reach for without overthinking. The ones that feel like home.

Bring a few options if you’d like—sometimes the story shifts, and it’s nice to have space for that.

Think about your style, but don’t try to define it too tightly. Maybe you’re casual, maybe a little dressy, maybe somewhere in between. Most people are.

Portraits can feel a little unnatural at first—but the goal isn’t perfection. It’s honesty. There’s no need to become someone else for the camera.

Some of the most meaningful images come from the unexpected—like a jersey layered under a suit, sneakers paired with something formal. The contrast tells a story that’s yours.

If there are pieces of your life you want to remember, bring them with you—
a college sweatshirt, a cap and gown, a letterman jacket, something that marks where you’ve been or where you’re going.

You can dress up, dress down—or move between both.

And if you want to hint at the future, a tailored suit can say a lot without saying anything at all.

I’m a natural light, on-location photographer—

which means you won’t find me in a studio, lining everyone up to look the same. My goal is to capture you, exactly as you are, in a place that carries meaning for you.

Whether that’s your favorite fast food spot, a school hallway, a sports field, a car lot, an arcade, a coffee shop, a ranch, a parking garage, a downtown square, a beach, or even the side of a mountain—I’m there for it.

Let’s go to the places where you feel most like yourself. I’ve photographed in all of these spots with clients who wanted their story told authentically. So don’t be afraid to dream big. If it matters to you, it matters to me.

My goal isn’t to create the perfect, posed shot. It’s to capture the beautiful, honest moments as they naturally unfold. I’ll offer a little guidance when it’s needed, but the real magic happens when you let go, have fun, and simply be yourself.

Some of my favorite images come from the unexpected: a laugh shared between poses, wind catching your hair, a quiet moment you didn’t even realize I was seeing. That’s the good stuff. That’s you.
